Staying Active this Summer!
Summer Vacation is a great way for children to recharge their batteries after spending several hours in a classroom during the school year. However; summer break can also lead to a somewhat sedentary lifestyle for the few months that your children have off from school if they let themselves get hooked on either their phones, Ipads, TV or video games. A few tips to keeping our children active this summer include: -Enrolling them into a summer camp -Creating a scavenger hunt for you and your children to do together -Playing a sport at a local park -Going on a walk with your children -Grow a garden together -Build a bird feeder to hang in your yard Our children our the most precious things in our lives. Use summer vacation to bond with your children and make every day, even if just for a couple of hours, as special as you can!
